Walk the timeline from the first ritual fires to the movements of the present day.
A gathering of the world’s spiritual, religious, esoteric, and mythological traditions — every faith and cosmology humankind has recorded, drawn together in one library and set in the order of time.
Descend through the ages↓
Walk the timeline from the first ritual fires to the movements of the present day.
Follow a single faith or current — Egyptian, Vedic, Norse, Gnostic — across the centuries.
Trace the great recurring motifs: the flood, creation, the underworld, the returning god.
Every sacred sign the archive draws, gathered in one place — and a few of them answer to a touch.
Manuscripts, relics and contested objects — the Voynich Manuscript, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Emerald Tablet — studied page by page from the holders’ own scans.
Gods, spirits, heroes and tricksters from every tradition in the archive — search them all, and follow each back to its chapters.
Walk the archive as a building: a wing for each of the Nine Ages, a room for every chapter, with its Vault objects, its figures and its symbol — each exhibit opening the archive’s own page.
Play the archive — duels of the gods, riddles, serpents and temples, each drawn from real chapters.
Play the Archive
Ways into the same history you can play. Every fact, fighter, and clue is drawn from a real chapter — play on a laptop or on your phone, and follow any thread back to its source. A few more are hidden in the symbols, for the curious.
Twelve games in all — from the fighter and the treasure hunt to pinball, chess and the Excavation — wait inside the Symbols, every fact in them sourced to a chapter.
The Nine Ages
Not by region, nor by creed — but chronologically, so the traditions of any age may be read beside one another. Choose an age to enter.
On the keeping of this archive
Every account here is drawn from real texts and the present state of scholarship. Where the record is firm, it is set down plainly. Where scholars still contend, the dispute is named rather than settled. Where the evidence falls silent, we say so — no tradition is dressed in certainty it has not earned.
Every specific claim is checked against primary texts and current scholarship — never memory, never invented citations.
Where scholars contend, we lay the debate out and let it stand — we do not resolve open questions by quietly picking a side.
Where the evidence runs out, the chapter says so. Each one closes with what is supported, what is not, and what is genuinely unknown.
A claim being sacred to believers and a claim being historically verified are different statements — and we never blur them into one. Read the full method →
